Brooklynn Dean is a writer. Brooklynn DeVours is a poet. You may think they're the same person, but they are not. Two different souls inhabit the same skin. Or at least that's what she tells us. You can never really trust a purveyor of hallucination, someone who is professionally a liar, especially when they craft their sentiments in pretty, purple prose. Brooklynn lives inside her mind, but her body calls Pennsylvania home. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Penn State, and prides herself on being labeled "pretentious about books." She explains it as simply loving language and wanting desperately for words of every articulation-everything written, spoken, and sung-to be beautiful.
