Judge Randall and the Lechmere Bus

Neither his experience as a judge nor his post-retirement experience as an amateur detective prepares Jim Randall for the shock of witnessing a murder. The shock drives everything Jim knows about how to solve a murder out of his mind, and he is forced even more than usual to relay on instinct. In the end, the killer's identity proves almost as shocking as witnessing the murder.
