Whispers is an extended love story to my wife, Jo, covering the eighteen or so years my life was blessed with her presence. My pastor once told me that the day I married Jo was the luckiest day of my life. I told him that I certainly knew that and that on that day it became my calling to be sure it was the luckiest day in hers! We both approached our marriage in such a way. What a grand experience! I had planned a book of two sections, but Jo unexpectedly passed away, and I needed to add a third and fourth. A close friend said, "Brian, you really loved her." I replied, "Yes, I did, and I still do!" There were tearstains on the manuscript as I wrote this foreword. They were tears borne of love and joy. Thanks be to God!
