Más información sobre el libro
The first symposium of the working group on experimental urology of the German Society of Urology took place in Cologne in 1972, aiming to provide a platform for discussing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in urology. Over 16 years, participation from European and international attendees has grown, along with the quality of presentations. The most recent meeting in Aachen in 1988 featured new research on renal cell cancer, andrology, prostatic conditions, bladder cancer, urinary diversion, urodynamics, renal pathophysiology, transplantation, and urolithiasis treatment. This book compiles 44 of the 109 papers presented at the Aachen meeting, encompassing both basic and clinical research. It serves as a valuable resource for urologists, oncologists, neurophysiologists, endocrinologists, and pathologists, providing a comprehensive overview of current scientific research in urology across Europe. No other publication offers such extensive coverage of recent experimental issues in the field. The series Investigative Urology aims to highlight ongoing research developments and encourage collaboration among those interested in experimental urology.
