Awkward Homeschooler: A Memoir is a debut young adult compilation of short funny stories documenting the quasi-fictional adventures of one awkward homeschooler, Dan Fares. This short chapter book, geared towards readers age 12-17 (and anyone else who has had any contact with the world of homeschooling), is loosely based on the author's experiences homeschooling in a suburb of Washington, D.C. Dan Fares is an observer (and sometimes active participant) of cringey, wholesome situations set against a motif of the ongoing culture wars of the 2020 election cycle.
