Anna Partington is homeless. She also thinks she can see ghosts from the past. While seeking the only relation who could help, Anna meets taciturn Rob Ahmed at a homeless shelter in Nottingham and finds she is not the only one who can see strange things. They are drawn together, entangled in a dangerous medieval world where they reveal more of each other's secrets and surprising talents. Anna and Rob may inspire for the legend of Marian and Robin Hood or vanish like ghosts in time. Many of us have wished we could travel back in time to meet our heroes. Would they be special, or everyday people? Or would we become the heroes?
