Miss Lonelyhearts

An Expressionist black comedy set in Great Depression-era New York, it follows Miss Lonelyhearts, a male advice columnist burdened by the desperate letters he receives. As he grapples with depression, heavy drinking, and bar fights, he also faces the cynical pranks of his feature editor, Shrike.
