On Homeworld, where everything and everyone is monitored by the faceless power of the government, there is no freedom. Jan Kulozik knew nothing of the Resistance; he probably didn't want to. But suddenly, he is part of it. And running for his life...

  3. The united colonies of Earth have succeeded in inflicting a defeat on the Earth fleet and liberating all inhabited planets. However, independence has not yet been achieved, as for decades the powerful on Earth have only provided the emigrants with industrial goods, vehicles, spare parts, and the like in exchange for food, strictly ensuring that the technical monopoly of the earthly rulers is not broken anywhere outside of Earth. The leaders of the revolution, including Jan Kulozik, could starve Earth, but at the cost of the harvesters and spaceships gradually failing without spare parts. Thus, only a desperate attack on the headquarters of the earthly armed forces remains. It is a hopeless endeavor, although there are signs that not all forces on Earth stand behind the Earth government.
