Jedná se o vyvrácení dvou dobových iluzí - že východočeští blouznivci (marokáni, nebo také děti čistého živého), jsou deisté ve smyslu deismu Voltairova, Lessingova a Herderova; a o iluzi, že tito, stejně jako kdysi čeští bratří, mají něco společného s adamitskými orgiemi. Ústřední tezí je to, že čeští pikarti nemají nic společného s Pikardií, ale s beghardy a že adamité nemají s opravdovým pikartstvím a s jednotou českých bratří nic společného.
