    Geeta Iyengar, la hija mayor del fundador del método mundial de yoga Iyengar, Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar, es reconocida como una de las principales profesoras de yoga del mundo. Estudiando yoga con su padre desde joven, comenzó a enseñar internacionalmente cuando él viajaba. Tras su jubilación, se convirtió en codirectora del Instituto Ramamani Iyengar de Yoga.
