Tommy Phan, a 30-year-old Vietnamese-American detective and aspiring novelist, finds his pursuit of the American Dream disrupted when he discovers a mysterious faceless rag doll on his doorstep. The doll, made of white cloth with stitched features, sparks intrigue and unease, leading Tommy into a web of mystery that intertwines his personal and professional life.
