This comic is an official adaptation of the screenplay for the film Alien 3 by William Gibson, the creator of the classic and award-winning novel Neuromancer. It features familiar characters and locations but in a completely different cyberpunk reality. After the shocking events known from the film Alien – The Definitive Encounter, the Sulaco ship is intercepted in space with Ripley, Newt, Bishop, and Hicks in hibernation on board. Meanwhile, there is another deadly passenger on the ship, which will become the subject of intergovernmental rivalry aimed at acquiring a weapon of mass destruction.
